Band Of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You
I loved this song when it was released. I loved it even more when Cee Lo Green covered it. Sometimes a good cover makes you like the original even more. This is from their 2007 album "Cease To Begin". It did not chart.
Del Amitri - When I Want You
Del Amitri was a band from Scotland that had some success on the modern rock radio in the late 80's early 90's. This is an album track from their 1989 album, "Waking Hours".
Matthew Sweet - I've Been Waiting
This is from his 1991 album "Girlfriend". I always thought it was released as a single but it wasn't as far as I can tell. It was an amazing album from beginning to end. It would be the first in a string of successful albums. He recently recorded a few cover albums with Susanna Hoffs.
Alison Moyet - Invisible
This is from her first solo album, the 1984 release, "Alf". It contained a few hit singles worldwide but this was the only song that reached the charts in the US. It peaked at number 34. She was the former lead singer of the band Yaz.
Michael Penn - No Myth
This is from his debut album "March". It reached number 13. He would later marry Aimee Mann from 'til Tuesday.. He is also the brother of Sean and Chris Penn. This was a great album from beginning to end.
