My Top 40 Songs for 2012

This is my one year anniversary of my first blog post.On that first post I did my top 40 for 2011. A lot of people don't understand how I can even come up with 40 songs. I still think that there is a lot of great music out there, you just have to seek it our more than you used to. Here is my list of my favorite 40 songs from the year 2012. My rules are simple, it may have come out before 2012 but if I first became aware of it in 2012, then it is eligible for my list. Enjoy and thanks for following me this year. 5 Songs on My iPod Volume 1

The way I listen to music has changed so much. My iPod is such a huge part of my listening experience. In the old days, I would take 5 or 6 cassette tapes with me and pop them in and out of the cassette desk. I would also make mix tapes. That led to CD's and then mix cd's. It was a tedious process. On the positive side, I listened to more whole albums than I do now. On the negative side, I used to get stuck on a few albums just out of pure laziness. Now with the shuffle option on the iPod, I hear so many new songs that I would not have even bothered to listen to. Here are 5 that popped up on my iPod in the last few days.
