When I started this Blog in December of 2011 I was bored and decided to do my top 40 songs for 2011. Now 3 years later I regularly get 100's of views a day. I know that isn't much but since I do this truly to share music with my friends, I think it's pretty cool. I have even had a few of the artists contact me. Anyway, here are 5 of my favorites from the first 50,000 page views.

5 Songs on My iPod Volume 1

The way I listen to music has changed so much. My iPod is such a huge part of my listening experience. In the old days, I would take 5 or 6 cassette tapes with me and pop them in and out of the cassette desk. I would also make mix tapes. That led to CD's and then mix cd's. It was a tedious process. On the positive side, I listened to more whole albums than I do now. On the negative side, I used to get stuck on a few albums just out of pure laziness. Now with the shuffle option on the iPod, I hear so many new songs that I would not have even bothered to listen to. Here are 5 that popped up on my iPod in the last few days.
