I found a lot of really good songs from the 70's so I am keeping this theme going. For the most part, these 70's lists so far are mostly songs that were of the lighter rock variety. I guess because that is all I was really exposed to. It was only later that I would look into the harder stuff from the 70's.

Every time I do these decade themed posts, I always think that this is the best decade. Each one has a special place for me. The 70's were right before I started high school so I wasn't choosing a lot of my own music, just what was fed to me over the radio. Even still, I have a lot of great memories of some of these songs.

In keeping with my "6 for a Decade" theme, here is my first for the 70's. The 70's always remind me of AM radio and I guess whatever my parents had on. It was always the lighter stuff that I guess was being played on AM radio at the time. FM Radio was the MTV of that era and played Rock and Roll. It wasn't until later that I discovered hard rock from that era.
