6 Great Songs From the 80's Volume 4

I'll just keep it going. I'm amazed at how many songs you listened to a lot then never hear again. That's what I have been looking for lately in my collection.  Here are 6 more.

Marillion - Kayleigh
These guys were a strange artsy prog rock band but somehow scored a hit with Kayleigh.

Belouis Some - Some People
I don't remember how I first heard of this song. It always reminded me of early Depeche Mode.

J. Geils Band -Angel In Blue
This was my favorite song off of the "Freeze Frame" album besides "Centerfold".

Alphaville - Forever Young
This was a huge hit everywhere but here in the US. Laura Branigan recorded a version and did make a hit out of it here for herself. I always loved this song but Laura Branigan's version took some of the shine off of it.

ZZ Top - Rough Boy
This was on the album "Afterburner", their follow up to their huge hit album, "Eliminator". There was no way this album could match that success. It had a more polished sound to it but I did like a few of the tracks, especially this one.

The Specials - Ghost Town
I remember MTV playing this in the very early days. It was released as a single only and didn't appear on a full album until they released a greatest hits. They had a ton of hits in the Uk but no real hit here to speak of. "A Message to you Rudy" is fairly known in the US but wasn't an actual hit.
