It's very cold today. I get very motivated by music in the winter when there isn't much else to do. While I worked from home today I played an older playlist I had in my database. These are 5 songs that came on today from that list.

This is a track from the 2012 "Battle Born" album. Brandon flowers said in a a recent interview that this is the sister song to Mr Brightside.

This is an album track from their 1986 debut album "Private Revolution. World Party was formed by former Waterboy Karl Walliger.
Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers
This is the second single from the 2011 "Wounded Rhymes album. It was not a hit here in the US but was huge in Europe.
Mr. Mister - Partners in Crime
This is an album track from the 1984 debut album "I Wear The Face". This album did absolutely nothing but they would hit it big with their next album "Welcome To The Real World". I always love this album. I think me and 5 other people even know of it.
Stroke 9 - Little Black Backback
This is was a huge modern rock hit in the US and Canada. It was from their 1999 album "Nasty Little Thoughts".
