My Top 5 The Call Songs

The Call were one of my favorite bands from the late 80's. They were one of the first bands that I did not really know from MTV but first heard when I started listening to HFS. Lead singer Michael Been died in 2010. His son, Robert who is the lead singer for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club has been performing with the remaining members for a series of shows.

I contacted Dave the other day and asked him if I could use his blog to talk about some new music that I’m digging, and he graciously has allowed me to ramble on. I am so excited to say that I am SO EXCITED about new music again! For YEARS I've been whining that there isn't anything good coming out. So much so that I've had to dive deep into my iPod and relive the music of yesteryear's. It’s just lately that I've begun to venture out a bit… maybe in part to WTMD. I think they've changed their format some, or maybe they just have better music to work with now – whatever, I actually enjoy listening to the radio on occasion again. Here is some spanking brand new music (and a couple of songs that are just new to me – but that’s what happens when you live in an iPod bubble) that I am totally crushing on right now.
