You don't hear from me for almost 3 months and now 2 in 2 days. That either means that I am all settled in or I'm just back to not sleeping. Maybe a little of both. Here are 5 covers I have been listening to lately.
Enjoy.

Peter Mulvey - Whole Of The Moon (The Waterboys)
Maybe one of my favorite covers I have heard in a while. I just discovered this last week but it actually came out in 1995. It's from the album "Rapture".
This is a stripped down cover of the classic 80's song. It's from the 2010 album "Suburban Field Recordings III". It's not on YouTube so check out on Spotify. It's worth it.

Devlin - All Along The Watchtower (w Ed Sheeran) (Bob Dylan)
I heard this a few months ago during the promo for the Stephan King CBS TV Series "Under The Dome". The song is a great version even if the show left a little to be desired. It features Ed Sheeran on Vocals.
Garbage - Because The Night (w Screaming Females) (Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen)
This was released as a promo for Record Store Day in 2013. It is a duet with another band called Screaming Females.
Richard Barone - I'll Be Your Mirror (The Velvet Underground)
This is an album track from the 1990 release "Primal Dream". Richard Barone was the lead singer of the band The Bongos who had a hit in the 80's called "Number With Wings".
