I was just listening to the band "James" today and forgot how many really good albums they put out. That got me thinking about the 90's so here is a quick list of 6 great songs from that decade. Enjoy

The Verve Pipe - The Freshmen
The Verve Pipe scored a huge hit with this song. It was from the 1996 debut album "Villains". I remembering having the original CD and it had a way different version than the one that was played on the radio.
The Greenberry Woods - Love Songs

The Greenberry Woods were a Baltimore based band that scored a few modern rock hits in the early to mid 90's. This is from the second album "Big Money Item". It was released in 1995.
Tripping Daisy - I Got a Girl
This was from the 1995 album "I Am an Elastic Firecracker". It was a fairly large modern rock hit that year.
For Squirrels - Mighty K.C.
This song received quite a bit of airplay on modern rock stations in 1996. It was from their only album "Example". The album was released in October of 1995, 1 month after the fatal accident that killed lead singer Jack Vigliatura and bass player Bill White along with their manager Tim Bender.
James - Waltzing Along
This is the third single from their 1997 album "Whiplash". It reached number 23 in the UK. I loved this album from beginning to end. Check it out if you can.

This is the third single from their 1996 debut album "The Sun Is Often Out". It reached number 16 in the UK and number 17 on the US Modern Rock Charts. I loved this song and always thought it should have been a bigger hit.
