There has always been a debate as to who was better, The Rolling Stones or The Beatles. I personally love them both and think it's ridiculous to compare the two bands but that's another thing that makes music so great. They had so many great songs that you could have 20 people have a different list and none have any of the same songs.Here are my favorite Rolling Stones Songs. Enjoy
5 The Rolling Stones - It's Only Rock and Roll
The lead single off of the album of the same name, it reached number 16 in the US.
4 The Rolling Stones - Angie
Released in 1973 off of the album "Goats Head Soup", it reached number 1 in the US.
3 The Rolling Stones - Memory Motel
Memory Motel is the 4th song on the 1976 album "Black and Blue". It was not released as a single and is named after the Motel on Long Island NY.
2 The Rolling Stones - Just My Imagination
This Temptations cover was featured on the 1982 album "Some Girls". It was not released as a single.
1 The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
This is the first track from the 1969 album "Let It Bleed". Although it was one of their biggest songs, it was not released as a single. This is my number one song by the Rolling Stones hands down. Nothing came close when compiling this list.
