My Top 5 Cure Songs

So my last post was so popular, I figured I would keep it going with "The Cure" this time. This one was really hard. I am a huge fan of The Cure and they had so many great songs that I can easily see people not including any of these in their top 5.

 5. The Cure - A Night Like This
Released in 1985, "Head on the Door" is my 2nd favorite Cure album. I never get sick of this song. I think it holds up really well considering it's 27 years old. The Cure were really starting to pick up steam when this album was released.

4. The Cure -  Fascination Street
The first one from my favorite Cure album, "Disintegration". The record company feared that this album would be commercial suicide. Not only were they wrong, it was their biggest selling album. This is one of 2 songs off of that album on my list.

3. The Cure - Let's Go To Bed
This was released in 1982 as a single and then later on the "Best Of" album, "Japanese Whispers". I discovered this several years later on the huge hit album, "Staring at the Sea". It was odd that a band is relatively unknown here in the United States until they release a "Best Of" album.

2. The Cure - Pictures of You
The 2nd song on my list from "Disintegration". I struggled not putting "Love Song" on here but ultimately "Pictures of You" won out.

1. The Cure - Late
This is the B Side of "Love Song". I am amazed to this day that this was not included on a major release. To me this would have been a huge hit. This is easily my favorite song by "The Cure". I didn't even hesitate. You can fins this now on "Join the Dots: B-Sides & Rarities ".
