I'm finally back in a nice music groove. Mix in some driving, work on the house and some Friday Nights hanging out with some friends and music is back in my life. Here are 5 songs that have been on the music playlist lately.

The Undertones - My Perfect Cousin

  

This is a great song from a very underrated band from late 70's early 80's. The lead singer was Feargal Sharkey who would go on to have a big hit  in the UK with "A Good Heart".

Phantogram - When I'm Small

This track is from their debut album "Eyelid Movies". It was released in 2009. Interestingly enough, I just saw that this was used in a Gillette Razor Commercial. Great song.

The Airborne Toxic Event - Timeless

This is the first single from the latest album "Such Hot Blood". If you haven;' heard this album, it's time to get it. It's probably my favorite this year behind "Biffy Clyro".

The Waterboys - Big Music

I always go between this song and "Whole of the Moon" as my favorite Waterboys song. Today I think this is it. It's from their 2nd album "A Pagan Place. It was released in 1984.

The Cure - Perfect Girl

This is an album cut from their 1987 double album "Kiss Me Kiss Me Miss Me". I always thought this should have been a single but since it wasn't, I never got sick of it.
