My Top 5 The Clash Songs







I didn't know much about The Clash when they first came out. When my music tastes started changing towards alternative music in the early 80's I first noticed them. Their last "real" album was a huge MTV hit. I then went back like many Americans and listened to their earlier albums They were way ahead of their time and only released 6 albums.

5. The Clash - This Is Radio Clash

This song was not featured on any of their 6 studio albums and was released as a single in 1981. It reached number 47 on the UK Chart.










4. The Clash - London Calling

This is the first single of the 1979 album of the same name. It reached number 11 in the UK.












3. The Clash - Train In Vain

This was the forth single off of the 1979 album "London Calling". It failed to chart in the UK but was the first single to chart in the US, reaching number 23.











2. The Clash - Straight To Hell

"Straight To Hell" was the B Side the the single "Should I Stay Or Should I Go". It was from the 1983 album "Combat Rock".
