My Top 5 Hall and Oates Songs

Hall and Oates are one of my 3 favorite bands/artists of all time along with Neil Finn (Split Enz, Crowded House , Solo)  and Counting Crows. There was a stretch from the late 70's to the early 90's where everything they released was a hit. Voices is, in my opinion, their greatest album. I was always a bigger fan of their songs that had a new wave rock feel to them. Voices had that throughout.
They continue to tour and periodically, release new material.

Daryl has a hit web show called Live From Daryl's House that has him hosting modern artists as they jam to their hits along with his. Check it out. He has a new artist on the 15th of every month.

Here are my top 5. It was hard to narrow down to just 5.

5. Hall and Oates -Wait For Me (Live)
This was first released on the 1979 XStatic album but later became popular when a live version was included on their first Greatest Hits Album, "Rock and Soul, Part 1".

4. Hall and Oates - Kiss On My List
A huge hit from their 2nd wave of success. "Voices" put them back on the map.

3. Hall and Oates - You Make My Dreams
Another great songs from the "Voices" album.

2. Hall and Oates - Out Of Touch
The first single from the "Big Bam Boom" album. Another great album from start to finish. This would be number one except that the next song is one of the greatest songs ever.

1. Hall and Oates - Every Time You Go Away
The 3rd song from the "Voices" album to make my list. It was not a single or hit and many people don't know they wrote it. It became a huge hit for singer, Paul Young in 1985.

Songs that almost made it. Rich Girl, One On One, Family Man, So Close, Your Imagination
