I spoke too soon about having less time due to spring being here. We've been in the house for two days with the cold and the rain. Here are 5 songs that I've been listening to the last few days.
Bruno Mars - Runaway Baby
Bruno Mars is one of those artists that came out of nowhere with so many hits last year it was amazing. Just when you think that there are no singers that are going to be huge, this guy comes along. He had 9 charting songs in the US since 2010.
Buckcherry - Open My Eyes
This is the last track off of the 2001 CD "Time Bomb". These guys put out some very good underrated stuff.
Daryl Hall - Dreamtime
This was the first single from Daryl's 2nd solo CD, "3 Hearts in a Happy Ending Machine". It had more of a rock feel to it than the stuff Hall and Oates were putting out at the time.
Soundgarden - My Wave
Not much to say about Soundgarden. They were just a great rock band. They have a new CD coming out this year. This was my favorite song off of "SuperUnknown".
AC/DC - Girl's Got Rhythm
Like I've said before, AC/DC's "Back in Black" was one of the first 2 records I ever bought. The older I get the more I appreciate how good of a rock band they really are. There aren't many bands that have to replace their lead singer and go on to have more success. When Bon Scott died in 1980, AC/DC hired Brian Johnson to take his place. They recorded Back in Black 5 months later. This song is from the album "Highway To Hell" which is the last album to feature Bon Scott.
