5 Songs On My iPod Volume 10

Nothing special today, just 5 more some from my random play. Enjoy

Violent Femmes - Gone Daddy Gone
I didn't know what to make of these dudes when I first heard them, Over the next few years, they sucked me in.

Cake - Long Time
Another great song off of their 2011 release "Showroom of Compassion". These guys never disappoint and I think are very underrated.

Hall and Oates - Your Imagination
I always loved this obscure 4th single off of  "Private Eyes". Hall and Oates were on a stretch of several albums where they had a very new wave vibe to them and everything they released was a hit. This was no exception.

Iggy Pop - The Passenger
In the 80's and 90's I didn't know much about Iggy. I didn't realize how important to the music scene he was until he started reaching a new generation of fans. Many of his songs were covered and used in newer movies and commercials. Here is a great song by Iggy.

Art Brut - Moving To LA
Art Brut is one of the Bands who's name people think is a person. They are a Berlin based English rock band named after French painter Jean Dubuffet's definition of outsider art - art by prisoners, loners, the mentally ill, and other marginalized people, and made without thought to imitation or presentation. I know that is a mouthful and I'm sure they are a little full of themselves. Regardless, this is a great song.
