6 Great Songs From the 80's Volume 3

It's crap weather and I'm working on a Saturday. Lot's of hurry up and wait kind of work so I'm playing music on YouTube and stumbled on Ministry - Revenge.  I figured I'd do another 80's post.

Ministry - Revenge
This band definitely had a Depeche Mode feel early on but then went to industrial music a few albums later.

Midge Ure - Dear God
He was the lead singer for Ultravox and also had a big part in Live Aid. This was from his solo work. He always seems very swash buckely(I know that isn't a word but you get the point) to me.

Mike and the Mechanics - Taken In
Phil Collins was having a lot of success between Genesis albums so Mike Rutherford decided to try a solo project. He got a bunch of different lead singers and released several albums. This is from the first one and had Paul Young (not the Every Time You Go Away Paul Young but the lead singer of Sad Cafe one) on vocals.

Split Enz - Message to My Girl
Before he formed Crowded House, Neil Finn was the lead singer of Split Enz. This was from the album Conflicting Emotions.

Bootcamp - Woman's Touch
A local band here in Baltimore that released a few albums in the early 80's.

The Ravyns - No Regular Woman
The best local band from Baltimore. They released one album and then got dropped from MCA before their second was to be released. It later came out as Remnants.
