6 Great Songs From The 80's Volume 30

Two posts in one week. It must be raining or dark at 5:00 pm or both. Either way, here are are 6 relatively obscure songs or songs that you don't hear much now from the 80's.
Enjoy

1. Journey - The Party's Over(Hopelessly In Love With You)

I had forgotten about this song because it was stuffed at the end on their 1980 live album "Captured". It reached number 34 on the US Billboard Charts.

2. Steel Breeze - You Don't Want Me Anymore

This song made it to 16 on the US Billboard Charts but I probably haven't heard it anywhere except in my house in 30 years. It's amazing how some songs stay around while others disappear. They had a minor hit called "Dreamin'" from the same album and then faded away after a few more albums.

3. Steve Winwood - While You See a Chance

This song reached number 7 on the US Billboard Charts and was his first hit as a solo artist. It seems pretty obscure now as well. I couldn't get enough of this when it was out. He was only 32 when this came out although it seemed like he had been around forever since he started in The Spencer Davis Group when he was 14.

4. Queen - Need Your Loving Tonight

This was the fourth single from the 1980 album "The Game". It reached number 44 on the US Billboard Charts.

5. Dire Straits - Skateaway

This was the second single from the 1981 album "Making Movies" and reached number 58 on the US Billboard Charts.

6. Pat Benatar - Invincible

This was the first single from the the 1985 album "7 the Hard Way". It reached number 10 on the US Billboard Charts. This is another huge hit that I can't remember the last time I heard it anywhere.
