6 Great Songs From The 90's Volume 10

With Bob's post yesterday, and all of the great comments, I started thinking about some 90's tracks, especially the Nine Inch Nails song.
Enjoy

Nine Inch Nails - Head Like A Hole

Although the album "Pretty Hate Machine" was released in 1989, the second single was released in 1990 and reached number 29 on the US Alternative charts. It was a pretty hard record at the time but it really took the industrial sound to the masses.

Eels - Novocain For The Soul

This is the first single from what turned out to be the Eels first album "Beautiful Freak". He had released 3 albums as "A Man Called E" or by his actual name Mark Everett. It was released in 1997 and reached 39 on the US Charts. I always loved the album cover on this album.

Beck - Loser
Buy On Amazon

This was the first single from his first album "Mellow Gold". It reached number 10 on the US Charts. It became way over played but hearing it now, it still sounds great and reminds me of that time.

Cake - Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps

This is an album track from the 1996 album "Fashion Nugget. It was a great album from beginning to end and is in my opinion, their second best album. That distinction goes to their next album "Comfort Eagle".

Urge Overkill - Positive Bleeding

This is the second single from the 1993 album "Saturation". It received a lot of airplay on alternative and rock stations.

Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen

This is the first single from their 1993 album "Gentlemen". I remember this getting tons of airplay on 99.1 WHS and 98 Rock here in Baltimore. To me, they had a very cool unique sound. Greg Dulli would go on the start the band The Twilight Singers and their great song "Teenage Wristband".
