I was watching Heart on Paladia tonight and it got me thinking about some of the great songs "98 Rock" used to play when I was in elementary and middle school.Here are 6 songs that I haven't listened to in a while

STYX - Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)

This was the first single off of the 1978 album "Pieces of Eight". It reached number 21 on the US Charts.

This is the first single off of the 1976 album "Dreamboat Annie". It was a huge hit reaching the top ten worldwide although it only reach number 35 in the US . I heard this tonight on Paladia and forgot how great this song was.










Journey - Anytime

This was the first single off of their forth album "Infinity". It was the first album to feature Steve Perry. It was released along with "Feeling That Way" and had co vocals by keyboardist Greg Rolle. It reached number 83 on the US Charts.









Jefferson Starship - Count On Me

This was the first single off of their fourth album "Earth". It was released in 1978 and was a pretty big hit in the US, reaching number 8. It featured Marty Balin on vocals. I remember one of my sisters owning this album. I always loved the album cover for some reason.







Bad Company - Silver Blue and Gold

This was an album track from their 3rd album "Run With The Pack". The album was released in 1975 and I always loved this song. I forget sometime how great of a lead singer Paul Rodgers is.
