6 Great Songs From The 80's Volume 22

It's a slow time of year for new artists. Usually a bunch of new stuff comes out in late January so I'll continue with more 80's playlists. 5 of the 6 are available on Spotify and Amazon.
Enjoy.

Billy Idol - Sweet Sixteen

This is the third single from his third full length album "Whiplash Smile". It was released in 1986 and reached number 20 on the US Charts.

Underworld - Underneath the Radar
Not On Amazon

This is the first single from the debut 1988 self titled album . It reached number 74 in the US but was an alternative hit worldwide.

Sinead O'Connor - Troy

I was surprised to read that this was the first single from her 1987 debut album "The Lion and the Cobra". It did not chart but put her on the map in the alternative music world. She would later release a worldwide number one hit with "Nothing Compares 2 U".

Nik Kershaw - Wouldn't It Be Good

This is the second single from the 1983 debut album "Human Racing". It reached number 46 in the US but was a top ten hit worldwide. He has since released 7 more studio albums.

Alison Moyet - Invisible

This is the third single from her solo Debut 1984 debut album "Alf". She had early success as the lead singer of the alternative band "Yazoo" or "Yaz" in the US. This song reached number 31 in the US and 21 in the UK.

Morrissey - Suedehead
Buy On Amazon
