6 Great Songs From The 80's Volume 17

Early 80's Rock had a a different sound than the new bands of the early MTV Days. All of these artists had success before MTV although Pat Benatar's career took off during MTV's heyday.

George Harrison - All Those Years Ago
This is from the 1981 album "Somewhere in England". It was a huge worldwide hit.

Billy Squier - In The Dark
This is the second single off of his 1981 album "Don't Say No". It reached number 35 on the US Charts.

Pat Benatar - Never Wanna Leave You
This is an album cut from the 1980 album "Crimes of Passion".

Santana - Winning
I always thought this was a Steve Winwood song. It was actually Carlos Santana with lead vocals by Alex Ligertwood. It reached number 17 on the US Charts. It was the only real hit and was the third single from the 1981 "Zebop!" album

Steve Winwood - While You See A Chance
Speaking of Steve Winwood, this is the first single from the hugely successful 1981 album "Arc of a Diver". It reached number 7 on the US Charts.

Steely Dan - Hey Nineteen
This the first single off of the 1980 album "Gaucho", It reached number 10.
