5 Songs On My Ipod Volume 21

Here is a quick list of 5 songs that have popped up on my iPod this week. On that note, I'm debating getting a new phone soon. I'm pretty sure I won't be getting an Iphone. If that is the case, I'm not sure if I'll continue to call this series "5 Songs On My iPod'. We'll see.

Bryan Ferry - The In Crowd
I've been in a Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music kick lately. I heard this on a commercial as well the other day. Great song.

Biffy Clyro - Machines (Live At Wembley)
This Scottish band is quickly becoming one of my favorites. As with many of their songs, the live version is better than the original.

Chumbawama - Torturing James Hetfield
Chumbawamba has gotten a bad rap because they had a huge novelty  hit with Tubthumper. The truth is this is a very cool band that is way better than most "One Hit Wonder" bands. They have been around for over 30 years and released 19 albums. They announced that they are calling it quits in July of this year. This song is a result of a story that broke that James Hetfield approved of his music as torture at Guantánamo Bay. It's a very funny song. Listen to the lyrics a few times and you'll be hooked.

Jars of Clay - Flood
Hands down the best Christian Rock song. I never get enough of it.

Unwritten Law - Cailin
Unwritten Law is a punk band from San Diego Ca. This is from their self titled third 3rd album. It was released in 1998.
