6 Obscure Late 80's Early 90's Songs Volume 2

I decided to do another set of songs from this era. I've been spending a lot of time listening to music the last few weeks and keep coming up with more songs that I forget about for an extended period of time.

Edwin Collins – Girl Like You
Just a great song. I remember when WHFS started playing this, I became obsessed with finding it. I remember it taking several months to get it.

The Pursuit of Happiness – I’m An Adult Now
This song totally blew me away when I first heard it. I found the cd pretty quickly and wasn't disappointed. "Love Junk" was a great CD from start to finish. This band became a one hit wonder. Their next CD wasn't that great and I lost interest.

The Northern Pikes – The Things I Do For Money
This was another band that WHFS played for a little while. I bought the album "Big Blue Sky" on vinyl initially and then later purchased on cd. I didn't know many people who knew of them.

The Judybats – Ugly on the Outside
The Judybats have become a pretty much forgotten band. They were played on some alternative stations for a few years but have not heard of them in over 20 years. Great song off of a very good cd, "Pain Makes You Beautiful".

The Ocean Blue – Between Something and Nothing
Another band who seemed to fade pretty quickly. The more I discovered my own music the more I lost touch with what was a hit and what was a hit in my head. This was a hit in my head.

Jesus and Mary Chain – Sometimes Always
I was not a huge fan of this band. I was a huge fan of this song. I think having Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star singing in the song and in the video really helped.
