These 5 songs came on while I was driving today. I think it's a pretty diverse bunch of songs. I generally just send a bunch of cd's and old playlists to my iPhone and let it shuffle play. I keep adding to it until I get bored and then clear and start over again.
Pat Benatar - I'm Gonna Follow You
This was an amazing CD. It was produced by her husband, Neil Geraldo, who also produced John Waite's first solo cd, "Ignition". This is one of many songs that were played in the early days of MTV.
Ben Folds Five - Brick
It's about abortion but you would think it's a love song if you didn't listen to the words. Great song.
Gomez - How We Operate
This band has put out a lot of cd's but this song from the cd of the same name is the best by far.
Bat For Lashes - Daniel
I discovered Bat For Lashes by browsing videos on demand on Comcast. This is a very cool video and and even better song.
Carolina Chocolate Drops - Hit 'Em Up Style
This is a cool stripped down cover of Blu Cantrell. I like it better than the original.
